The present BA thesis examines the terrain relicts in the area of Humenská (the cadastral area Jíloviště). The concerned relicts were identified as road relicts. Results of a geodetic survey of the relicts were connected with research of the historical settlement in the area of the village Jíloviště. The relicts were identified as material remnants of the so-called Bechyně road mentioned by the chronicler Kosmas. One part of the thesis treats old roads, including a more detailed discussion of the issue of localizing the Bechyně road.
